Construction has now begun for 52 apartments directly on the banks of the river Dahme at the BUWOG DAHMEGLANZ ensemble in Berlin-Grünau.
BUWOG is celebrating the official launch of its new residential project, BUWOG DAHMEGLANZ, in Berlin-Grünau. The construction of two elegant buildings on the river Dahme marks the completion of the multiple award-winning 52° Nord development, which BUWOG has been constructing for approximately ten years.

The BUWOG DAHMEGLANZ ensemble combines modern architecture, sustainable construction (KfW-55) and an unobstructed view of the water. A total of 52 two- to five-room condominiums and residential spaces from approximately 54 to 138 square metres are being built. Spacious balconies, terraces and private green areas create flowing transitions between the indoor and outdoor spaces and provide a panoramic view of the water.
The two apartment buildings are located directly on the promenade, which was specially built by BUWOG. The promenade extends for several hundred metres along the shoreline and connects the individual building sites, which are impressive with their quite different architectural styles and have also already won a variety of architecture prizes and awards.

The final construction phase, BUWOG DAHMEGLANZ, is a premium, architecturally successful conclusion of this special development.”
Its splendour is not only reflected in the name of the project (“Dahmeglanz” translates multiple ways – “splendour of the Dahme” is one of them) but can also be experienced on site: In the BUWOG DAHMEGLANZ project, the façades are designed with pale ceramic elements that reflect the sunlight and generate fascinating reflections of the light with the play of the waves. Due to the special shape of the building, all of the apartments enjoy maximum sunlight without mutual shading. Premium materials, genuine parquet flooring, underfloor heating and modern smart home technology ensure residential comfort.
The BUWOG DAHMEGLANZ complex will also be well positioned in terms of energy efficiency and built to the KfW 55 standard. It has its own rooftop photovoltaic system and a local heating supply from the development’s own energy centre in the 52° Nord development. This will not only minimise energy consumption but also make a sustainable contribution to climate protection.
