The impressive location of the new BUWOG FLORAGÄRTEN development in Naunhof is compelling in every respect. Our visit to the site shows that this is an idyllic place to live surrounded by nature. The forest and lake Grillensee are impressive in every season – and Leipzig is also within easy reach.

The new BUWOG FLORAGÄRTEN development in Naunhof near Leipzig combines modern residential comfort with an unparalleled location surrounded by nature.

It is the first construction phase for NUWENHÖFE – a BUWOG development. A total of approximately 300 one- to five-room condominiums will be built.

First, however, construction work is underway on BUWOG FLORAGÄRTEN with 120 premium condominiums. The natural surroundings around the construction vehicles have been transformed, and the forest presents itself to our photographer in November in its most beautiful autumn hues.

120 apartments in an idyllic landscape

The six buildings in the new ensemble are nestled among rolling meadows with small paths and plenty of trees, flowers and shrubs.

Our photo shoot depicts the orange-red autumn leaves ablaze in the most vibrant colours of Indian summer. The approximately 57-hectare lake Grillensee – a popular swimming spot in summer – reflects these colours, creating an atmosphere of serenity that beckons one to relax and unwind.

This is also in keeping with the sustainable orientation of BUWOG FLORAGÄRTEN. Ample vegetation seamlessly integrates the surrounding natural environment into the residential ensemble. Living in green surroundings is also ensured by balconies, terraces, rooftop terraces and garden areas – architectural amenities that each residential unit has at its disposal, depending on its location.

The project is forward-looking and sustainable in any case: the houses comply with the energy-efficient KfW 55 standard and heat is supplied sustainably via air heat pumps.

There is also a photovoltaic system. BUWOG itself has received several awards for its sustainability and has just won the ImmoAward 2025 as Developer of the Year.

Naunhof, a charming community just outside Leipzig, is ideal for anyone looking for proximity to the city but who also wants to enjoy the peace and beauty of country life – whether in golden autumn or any other time of year.
