From the idea at its inception to completion, new construction and neighbourhood development are often long-term undertakings that require a great deal of patience and creativity. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. So the joy is all the greater when new apartments reach the finish line – as is now the case in Berlin with the BUWOG HELLING HOF project.
The topping out for the BUWOG AM NEUEN PARK development on Dösner Weg in Leipzig took place on 10 June 2024. BUWOG is creating new residential space for around 900 people here.
Where just three years ago a lonely town hall stood on a barren meadow, a new urban development has emerged: BUWOG NEUE MITTE SCHÖNEFELD. While the first residents move in, the boom in the airport community continues.
The European Real Estate Brand Institute has distinguished BUWOG twice this year: as the strongest brand in the “Developer Residential” segment and with the award for the best Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the year, which went to Dr. Ingrid Fitzek-Unterberger.
On 5 and 6 June 2024, the Real Estate Arena, one of the most important events in the real estate industry, is taking place in Hannover. BUWOG will also be in attendance and present its new construction projects and neighbourhood developments.
The polis Convention, one of the leading events for urban and neighbourhood development in Germany, is just around the corner again. On 24 and 25 April 2024, over 300 exhibitors will present their latest developments and issues of interest in Düsseldorf. BUWOG will also be presenting its current and future projects there. The two-day programme will focus on sustainability in planning and construction, technical innovations and opportunities for refurbishing existing buildings.
In the north of Potsdam, a new residential development for around 10,000 people is being built on grounds that are steeped in history as well as close to nature, nearly car-free, CO2-neutral and family-friendly – an ambitious model urban development project. An open house on 2 September 2023 will provide information on the history and planning.
