A crown for the Regattahaus

Step by step, the 52° Nord neighbourhood in Berlin-Grünau is growing. The topping out has now been celebrated for the Regattahaus.

Around 80 guests gathered on Regattastraße, when the Regattahaus was topped out on 14 March.

The traditional topping out is celebrated when the shell of a building is completed and the roof structure has been built. An important moment in the construction of a new building!

The 52° Nord neighbourhood in Berlin-Grünau is set to experience a large number of other festivities, for it will grow to around 1,000 residential units in the next few years, thus creating urgently necessary housing for Berlin. Just recently, the marketing began for Haus an der Dahme and its total of 33 units. With Haus an der Dahme, the BUWOG Group is building a five-floor residential ensemble with ceiling heights of 2.80 metres and floor-deep windows on the banks of the river. Sliding elements of Italian fibreglass protect from the sun and wind and ensure that the balconies can be used in nearly any weather.

The Treptow-Köpenick district is enjoying growing popularity: here it is possible to relax in a green environment, to enjoy the proximity to the Dahme, Spree and Müggelsee, and to quickly reach the airport, Adlershof or the centre of Berlin.
