There was a great deal of media interest this week around a press event held at Seestadt Aspern, Austria’s largest urban development area, where the BUWOG Group is now also starting construction in direct proximity to the lake.
The lakeside urban development has been growing and growing, and there are already around 6,000 people living at the former airfield in Vienna’s 22nd district today, for the most part in rental apartments, many of which are subsidised. BUWOG is now adding to the housing available up until now with the three-part Project See See, and is building the currently largest privately financed residential construction project in the lakeside development by far, with a total of 285 owner-occupied and investment properties for singles, couples and families.
The ground-breaking for See See Tower, See See Home and See See Living was undertaken last Monday by BUWOG CEO Daniel Riedl, District Director Ernst Nevrivy and Wien 3420 Aspern Development AG CEO Gerhard Schuster, who in bright sunshine took pleasure in the start of the new project and the ideal conditions for the existing and future Seestadt residents.
It is possible to already make a reservation for the overall project on the BUWOG Group website. The sales launch with detailed prices and information on the individual units will follow shortly. The completion of See See is scheduled for spring 2019.
You can see here a video from the industry service provider “Immoflash”, with images of the ground-breaking and interviews with Daniel Riedl, Gerhard Schuster and Ernst Nevrivy about the BUWOG urban lakeside development project.
For another six days, you can see on ORF TVThek a clip from the “Wien heute” (or “Vienna Today”) programme, with a statement from Daniel Riedl about the BUWOG lakeside residential construction project.
